Easter in Italy

In Italy we use to celebrate this event because is the resurrection of Jesus for Catholics.
It will be Easter quite soon and we will receive and give "chocolate eggs" (or Easter eggs) to our relatives and friends...Easter eggs are coloured and delicious!!
On the "Easter Sunday" we use to go to the Mess and bring some eggs(fresh or chocolate) to be consacrated. Then we eat them at lunch with our family.
Easter is a glad and important day for the Italians, especially for the Catholics. On the "Easter Monday" people usually go to the seaside or in the country for a pic nic. It is a traditional way to welcome spring as the season of the rebirth of nature.
