How does an immigrant see life?

Imagine you arrive at a new country. How would you like to be treated?. What would you like people to think about you? Would you like them to turn their backs on you? I think you wouldn’t, would you? Most immigrants are ill treated in their new countries.
I know this kind of shoes well. I am an immigrant. I came to Spain from Belgium when I was seven years old. I have white skin and most people treated me well although there were some exceptions -some people provoked me about my nationality-.
As you can see my problem when I arrived here, in Spain wasn’t really important, compared to those of coloured people. They also have a lot of problems with racist people who don’t like them to work in our country or take part in our society...
