Our favourite places

Our favourite place in Setúbal is a beach called Portinho da Árrabida, at the foot of the Serra de Arrábida. In this ancient fishing village you can fish, sail or practice windsurf. It’s a very beautiful beach, the ideal place to relax, near blue clean waters. You can also visit an old natural monument called Pedra da Anicha (Anicha Rock) or do like we do: just lie in the sun and play football.

My favourite place in Alcácer do Sal is the riverside. Along this green flowered margin there are special places where you can sit and relax. Mine is an old bench where I like to stop at night, look at the stars and the moon. It’s so quiet and problem free.

My favourite place is a small lake near Alcácer do Sal, right in the middle of the countryside. There I can fish and relax from the life I have. It’s completely green and there are no smells, just the ones of the wild flowers. So if you are looking for a calm and peaceful place this is the one.

My favourite place is in the city of Vila Franca de Xira, the city where I was born and raised. There, in the top of a hill is this hidden place, from which I can see the entire city. These are the times when I feel everything is so small and I’m the only one that really matters. I go there whenever I can.

My favourite place in my town is a bar called “Pinto”. A lot of people go there often because it’s a very nice place. This bar is in a garden which belongs to the church. I go there often during the day and even at night. Usually I drink a cup of coffee, talk with my friends, have a beer or two at the weekend …

Our favourite place in town is a shopping centre called Aranguês because it’s the place that all our friends go to. Every night we go to a café called Sabores, stay there for a couple of hours talking, smoking, drinking … The shopping is also a good place to be because seated outside we can see everything that is going on, specially the girls passing by. Besides this, it’s a good place to shop, if you have the money.

Our favourite place in Setúbal is a beach called Figueirinha, on Serra da Arrábida, near Outão. We like it because it is a great place where we and our friends can play football, swim, look at beautiful girls, get a tan... At night, we prefer a good bar and later on a disco.

Our favourite place in town is the swimming-pool. We like it because we can be with our friends, talk a little, play some football on the grass, and the most important look at the girls on their nice bikinis.

My favourite place is in Alcácer do Sal, a bar called “Bar da Rute”. It’s very cosy and the people are very nice and friendly. There you can have a drink or dance if you prefer. Me? I like to do both. And you?

My favourite place in town is the bar “Bar da Rute” because it’s a nice place to go for a drink or a cup of coffee. It’s very cosy, the music is always very good and it has some spaces where we can talk. It closes at 2:30 a.m. and then we go to a disco called Alexanders, 50km outside Alcácer do Sal.

My favourite place in town is the gym because I love training and at the same time it makes me forget all my problems. I practice box, kickboxing and body-building. I workout in two different gyms, one in Quinta do Conde and another in Barreiro. I practice everyday; it’s almost my second home.
