Wintersports in Sweden
The winter season sports have just begun its leagues after Christmas. Right now our Swedish handball-team is playing world championship, and our Swedish swimmers are swimming in world cup. In Malmö we have the European championship in figure skating.
When families by themselves want to practise a sport, they often go up north to the mountains, and go skiing. It’s very popular to do, and to watch on TV. I guess you heard about Ingemar Stenmark or Pernilla Wiberg. They were very good skiers at their time.
