In Italy the most interesting and the most spectacular football on the earth is played. We love it because it’s easy to understand and enjoyable.
We play football in three different local teams: Certaldo, Gracciano and San Gimignano.
We have played football for about eight years and for us everyone can play this sport, although when we grow up it is more and more difficult to be among the eleven players who play since the beginning of the match.
In the most important Italian league (serie A) there are 18 teams and the last three go down in a lowest league (serie B) and the 15th one has to play a match versus the 6th team of serie B. Who loses go in serie B: the rules seem very difficult, but only one year ago they were easier.
The most important Italian teams are Milan, Roma, Juventus, Inter, Parma and Lazio. The first one wins the championship (<U><B>Milan </B></U>may win this year). The winner and the 2nd go directly to Champion’s League, the 3rd and the 4th have to play some qualification matches to go in it.
Football players earn a lot of money. Because of the problems of a lot of teams, someone is thinking of reducing their salaries.
Our favourite team is Fiorentina, a team of serie B, which was in serie A some years ago and which was unfairly relegated. We hope this year Fiorentina will go in the most important league.
