Formula 1A sport in a red style Formula 1 is one of the most important and expensive sports in the world, in fact the cars are very expensive and they are built with the most expensive materials and the best technology. Formula 1 attracts a lot of people, not just people who like cars but also people who like sports and high speed. It is a car race and there are a lot of people who drive in some races all over the world. The first Formula 1 World Championship started on May 13th 1950 at Silverston in England. It started in red style: in fact the first leader of the race was Farina, an Alfa Romeo driver. Today Formula 1 is in a red style like 50 years ago, the style of Ferrari. Ferrari has had some of the best drivers in the world, like Ayrton Senna who died in a race incident and Niky Lauda who came out of a terrible crash. Now the best driver in the world is a Ferrari driver: Michael Schumacher.
