Hemiciclo – Jogo da Cidadania (Citizenship Game)

Up for debate this year is the enlargement of the European Union. Considering this a great opportunity to take part in debates, meetings, and most of all discuss the effects it will have on our future, our school will be one of the many active participants. Once again we have chosen to express and defend our ideas. The game has just begun and we are planning our campaign. What about you?
Each year the Portuguese Youth Institute (Instituto Português da Juventude) invites all secondary schools to participate in the Hemiciclo – Jogo da Cidadania. The aim of this game is to bring together students from all over the country and let them experience what is like to take part in a democratic process.
