The Aerosmith

Perry, than playing in the Jam Band, invited Tyler (who had previously released one single “When I need you” with his own band Chain Reaction, and another, “You should have been here yesterday” with William Proud) to join him in a Geam-Styled rock combo.
Together, with fellow Jam Band member Tom Hamilton and new recruits Joe Kramer and Ray Tabano, the band was complete.
However, Tabano was quickly replaced by the former member of Justin Tyme.
After playing their first gig at the Nipmuc Regional High school, the band took the name Aerosmith.
Then they had a recording contract with Columbia Records.
In 1973,Aerosmith secured a minor chart playing with their self-titled debut album.
Although their single “Dream on” initially peaked at number 59, became a top 10 hit in April 1976.
“Get your wings” inaugurated a fruitful working relationship with producer Jack Dauglas.
Nationwide tours established the quintet as a major attraction, a position consolidated by the highly successful “Toys in the Attic”, cuhich has now solid in excess of six million copies worldwide.
The guitarist, Perry, quarrel with Tyler and left the band following the release of the disappointing “Night in the Ruts”.
Jimmy Crespo joined Aerosmith in 1980.
Antagonisms were set aside again and the following year, the quintet was performing together.

The band returned to Columbia Records in the mid-90s and spent an age recording “Nine Lives”
In Tyler’s word: “this album has taken me as for as I’ve ever wanted to go and get me back again”.
In September 1998. the group achieved their first ever us number 1 with the Diane warren-penned ballad “I don’t want to miss a thing”, taken from the movie Armageddon.
The song stayed at the top for five weeks.

“I don’t want to miss a thing” is sung by –Aerosmith-.
It has an extraordinary success.
This song has a particular meaning as it tells about a man who doesn’t want to miss a thing about his lover; in fact the singer, in the song, underlines that he doesn’t want to close his eyes, but above all he doesn’t want to fall asleep because, he says, he’d miss her.
He describe this moment how an extraordinary moment in which he can see his lover smiling, when she’s sleeping, he fell to can even see in her dreams and he’s wandering for this.
The song serves almost to describe the importance that this woman has; he describe her like the most important thing that he had never had.
He would remain lying close to his lover forever and see forever her sweet face.
He starts even to tank god to have found a thing so beauty and so important.. for him.
Moreover the singer compares this woman with a dream, because, he says, the sweetest dream of her, he had never do, cannot be compare with her.
The song lets reveal all the love, the joy, the peace of mind the singer contains in this moment, in which his life looks like almost a dream where there’s only his lover.

We like this song very much because, farther to be melodic, wrapping and a catchy tune, it’s much romantic and extremely sentimental.
Certainly we haven’t noted this, at the first, for its meaning, also because the words of this song have initially eluded our, and for this we have immediately though that it told about a man who has lost his lover.. forever!!!
But then we realized the real meaning of the song.
Listening this song we think everybody shared moment very beautiful together with someone special..
One day we hope we could see the band performing this song life on stage.
