Dear Headmaster, teachers, pupils and other staff members.

We are very happy to receive wonderful news of fund raising of 34 862 SEK by your school. The information reached us on Diwali day in India. Diwali is a very big festival in India like Christmas in Sweden. It is a big gift and good wish from all of you on this auspicious day. 

Diwali is celebrated by lightening and decorating the house with clay lamps and fancy lights. It means praying to God to enlighten our life like these lamps on this auspicious day. We also worship Goddess Laxmi to bless us with more wealth and pray for prosperity. Many of our festivals are celebrated to bring good change/message in our lives. We also celebrate Navratri before twenty days of Diwali and people dance in their area irrespective of the status of the person, everybody dance on these nine nights. It is a message of equality and so on. 

We also distribute sweets and gifts within family and to the poor needy people so that their family can also celebrate Diwali with same enthusiasm and joy. People greet each other with HAPPY DIWALI.

We, members of VPSS- Vedchhi Pradesh Seva Samiti Trust,  are immensely pleased  to know about fund raising done  by your  school for supporting the students of VPSS trust run Vananchal primary school in Chandvegan.

We are heartily thankful to the school headmaster, teachers, pupils and other staff members of  Strandskolan, Tyreso Kommun: 34 862 SEK. 

We really appreciate your hard work and commitment to support the students of under privileged  kids for their primary education. It really helps and it will go a long way in building their future.  

This collected money will be used to cover all the expenses (salary of the teachers and cook, food for the students and other miscellaneous expenses like electricity etc.) of Vananchal Primary School in Chandvegan. The collected money will also be used for the salary of trust Coordinator, driver, Bilpudi Girls' hostel cook and hostel supervisor. 

Vananchal primary school is located  in a very remote village Chand vegan. There is no primary school in the near by area, as it is a remote undeveloped tribal area.

Schools in Dharampur have reopened after three weeks of Diwali holidays. Please find brief overview of the schools and activities done by the trust.

1. Vananchal School in Chandvegan has 4,5,6 and 7 grade students.  There are 81 boys and 42 girls. Total 123 students. There are total six staff in the school including headmaster, teachers and cook.

VPSS trust other activities.  

1. Adarsh Middle School in Vaghval. School is having grade 5,6,7,8,9 and 10 students. There are 84 boys and 51 girls Total 135.

2. Shrimad Rajchandra Middle School in Tamchhadi. School is having 5,6,7,8,9 and 10 students.There are 77 boys and 44 girls. Total 121.

3. VPSS is also running Girls hostel having grade 11 and 12 students.

4. VPSS guides 12th grade students for pursing higher education like engineering, medical and other vocation coursed like nursing, technical education - fitter, turner, electrician etc

We are collecting donation from local donors to cover these expenses

There has been very good support from TUFF from the day one in Dharampur Project for last more than 35 years. TUFF has played vital role by giving the overview of tribal area and need for education and other activities in this area thru workshops in sister schools from time to time.

We are grateful to TUFF for their support all these years.
