"Why did you eat all of my new baked cinnamon buns?" My mother asked Tim.
"I was hungry, I don't like the healthy diet you always cook, you know that," Tim said.
"You will always be fussy about my food Tim," my mother said.

I don't like when my mother is angry so I went to my father. He was watering the flowers so he didn't see me when I came.

My father is a vegetarian, which means that he doesn't eat meat. His favourite salad is a salad with herbs and parsley. He wrote a book about food once, a cooking book. My father's cooking book is a vegetarian cooking book with my father's own recipes. I liked my father's food very much, especially his vegetarian lasagne. Just like Tim I didn't like my mother's food.

One day when we were eating a family meal I asked my mother if she could buy convenience food for the next day.
"Why Hannah, don't you like my food?! Is something wrong?" My mother asked me. I looked down at the stale wholemeal bread with herring and tried to find the words.
"I, I, I... Your food isn't my favourite food... I don't like it so much," I said. My mother looked at me with very angry eyes and said, "My food is nourishing."

Then I started crying and ran away. I still remember that day.
I was hungry so I went to the kitchen and took a snack, a sandwich and black currant squash. "Nooo!" I dropped my glass with squash on the table. I had to clean the table and the tablecloth. The tablecloth isn't fun to clean, I hate to clean but I knew what I could do instead. I could cook food for dinner. A recipe from my father's cooking book, a main course he called "Scrumptions Tablecloth with Squash".
(In real life I know it's impossible to eat a tablecloth. I'm not crazy, I just have imagination.)
