Eleverna i årskurs 7 har jobbat med tema "Lag och rätt". Strandaren kommer att publicera ett urval av de texter som eleverna har producerat under engelskalektionerna.

Denna berättelse är författad av Jacob Kummetz.

It was a cold night in November, Jason Fletcher and his wife were in bed, at around ten o´clock. His wife Marie said to him that she was going to take a shower. When Marie was in the shower Jason’s phone rang, it was Sarah, his secret lover.

She told him that she was tired of the situation. She also asked when he was going to leave Marie. Jason knew that he loved Sarah more than Marie but he couldn’t leave her, they had been married for seven years. He also told her that he almost wanted to kill his wife to be with her. He heard his wife turn off the tap. Jason took his sleeping pills he had got from Sarah so he could sleep. Soon he had to choose, he knew he loved Sarah more than Marie but he didn´t know what he was going to do with his wife.

3 days later…

Mr. Rosco woke up and realized that he had six missed calls from Phil Thomson, his employee who also worked at the police station. It was really weird that Mr. Thomson called him during his vacation but Rosco called back. Thomson told him to come to the police station because they have found a dead woman.

Mr. Rosco met Thomson at the police station. They had found Marie Fletcher dead in a container early that morning. She had a big wound. Rosco asked if they thought about who the murder could be. They told him that they should interrogate Marie’s husband Jason Fletcher.

An hour later, Jason Fletcher was at the police station. First Thomson asked Jason if he could get Jason´s phone, but he answered that he had very private messages, but Thomson didn´t listen. He took the phone and took it to his office, and then Rosco started to interrogate Jason.

Jason started to ask why he was there but Rosco knew that Jason knew. Rosco asked what Jason did that morning but he said that he slept the whole morning but his only alibi he had was his wife.

Thomson was in his office and read Jason’s messages and understood that Jason had a secret relationship with Sarah. There was one phone call which was a little more interesting; it was between Jason and Sarah, three days before Marie was killed. When Thomson was on his way out to ask Jason about the call, Jason’s phone rang and Thomson answered. It was Sarah who asked if Jason wanted to travel to Spain with her but Thomson replied that Jason was the main suspect of a crime. The weird thing with the call was that Sarah was going to travel alone. The laboratories called Thomson to say that they had found that Marie had overdosed and that Jason has exactly the same pills at home. He knew that Jason was the murder.

When Thomson was in Rosco’s office he asked Jason why he had said that he wanted to kill Marie and Jason replied that it just flew out of him. Thomson also said that Sarah was going to travel to Spain and that they had found an overdose of propiomazin in Marie’s blood, exactly the same pills that Jason had at home. Jason had many motives to kill his wife and that he must be the one who killed Marie, but Jason only looked down at the floor.

He said Sarah killed Marie, she hated to travel and that he got propiomazin from Sarah to sleep. He also said that Sarah wanted Marie out of his life. Thomson called the hospital and then he said that they must drive to Gatwick airport.

Rosco reached to the reception, showed his identification and asked where the flight for London-Madrid was, she answered number 56. When they were at gate number 56 to look for Sarah, Rosco saw her and started to run and took her hands in a safe grip and arrested her. “So we can let Jason go now?” Thomson asked.

“Yes, we can let him go and we also need to say sorry to him,” Rosco replied. “Very well done Thomson, we are finish with this crime now. I know that Sarah is the murder.”
