A Week Day in My life

Afterwards, I go to the kitchen to eat my delicious breakfast that my mom made for me. I’ll usually have a bowl of cereal, some avocado toast or a yogurt bowl with honey, fruit, and some chocolate cereal. These are all some of my favourite breakfast dishes. Later, I go to the bathroom to do my hair. I’ll sometimes wear it loose, with a headband or in a bun, a ponytail with a claw clip or half up half down. These are my go-to hairstyles. Following this I spray some perfume on, use some lip gloss and go to my dad’s car. He always drives me to school. There I meet my friends and we talk until the first class starts at 8 am. When I arrive, I change my clothes and start doing my homework. When I finish it, my dad cooks me lunch. After I eat, I usually read or sometimes watch a movie. In my free time I like playing video games on my computer. Then my mom and my sister arrive home. I usually play with my sister for about an hour. We both have a snack, like biscuits, or an apple. I love to challenge myself physically and mentally, so I have enrolled in a taekwondo course and a guitar course. Taekwondo is a martial art that originated in Korea and involves kicking, punching, blocking, and self-defense techniques. I have been practicing taekwondo for four years and I am currently a yellow with green belt. I enjoy learning new skills and improving my strength, flexibility, and coordination. Taekwondo also teaches me discipline, respect, and confidence. My taekwondo instructor is very strict but also supportive. He always pushes me to do my best and corrects my mistakes. I attend taekwondo classes twice a week, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

I have always liked music and wanted to learn how to play an instrument. I chose the guitar because it is versatile and portable. I can play different genres of music, from rock to classical, and I can take my guitar with me wherever I go. I have been taking guitar lessons for two years and I can play some basic notes and songs. Regular practice helps you become more comfortable with complex fingerings and patterns. My guitar teacher is very friendly and patient. He always encourages me and gives me helpful feedback. He also introduces me to new artists and styles of music. Taekwondo and guitar are my passions and hobbies.
They make my afternoons fun and productive. They also help me relax and cope with stress. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow through these activities.

Reading is fun because it takes me to different worlds and adventures. I can learn new things and imagine new possibilities. Playing is also fun because we can share our stories and jokes. We can also challenge each other and help each other. Sometimes we play games, sometimes we do sports, sometimes we just talk. Reading and playing make me happy. Paul C., 6th grade

At the weekend, I like relaxing by taking a bath. Then, I change into my cozy pyjamas and brush my teeth after having dinner, which usually happens around 7 PM. After that, my family and I go into the living room and watch TV.
We often watch an interesting movie together. If not, we just watch a TV show we all like. I always go to sleep at 10 PM, during school so I can be full of energy the next day, but at the weekend I stay up later, until 11 PM. Alexandra B., 6th grade
